Alright, for now we are going to talk about a recent news posting about how popular Minecraft has become. Now, for most of you, this is probably a subject that is getting kind of tiring. It is true, we get it, we are sick of hearing about it. But this is what happens when there is no news, news is made.
In particular, we are talking about the fact that over 100,000 people have given the Xbox 360 version of Minecraft, which will be released in spring, a near five out of five star rating. Now, at this point in the article the transition to an opinion is opened, the difference between the Xbox and PC version. While Minecraft itself is a popular game and virtually anything that has its name on it will turn into gold, we should be wary about doing this. It is how so many games have turned to crud. It might be a good game, but the Xbox version will be in every way inferior to the PC version. This is not an opinion, it is not debatable.
But still, the momentum of Minecraft carrying over to the Xbox is a good thing for Mojang. It just seems like the only game that really matters is the PC version of Minecraft.
